More Than a Roof Launch

Updated: Apr 29

On Saturday we launched our new poetry anthology, More than a roof. Given these uncertain COVID times, two launches were held, both at St Peters church, with afternoon teas held in their beautiful garden room.

Over 120 people attended the two launches to celebrate this special book. Janie Walker MC'd the event, with a moving karakia led by Apirana Taylor and poetry readings from a variety of poets. We were honoured to have Murray Edridge from Wellington City Mission officially launch the book.
